INTERPRETING  HISTORY,  HISTORIC  PLACES  AND  THE  LANDSCAPE THROUGH  STORY

STORIES FROM THE IRON AGE TO THE ENGLISH CIVIL WAR

" An honest tale speeds best when being plainly told "

William Shakespeare, Richard 111

THE  TALES  WE  TELL ....

Range from legendary deeds, great events to the commonplace, curious, surprising, absurd and comic. Meet heroic outlaws, kings, queens, saints and sinners, farting women, vile villains, wise wives, brave knights, drunken monks, fools and eccentrics.

Our stories are brimming over with colourful characters!

We ladle from our story pot tales of adventure, excitement, comedy, mystery, magic and marvel.

LISTENING TO THE PAST

Our stories forge a link to the people of our past. Telling tales that their own ears once heard enable us to share in their laughter, dreams, desires, concerns and hopes.

Let the noise of modern life subside and allow Past ~ Imagined to turn up the volume on our historic past and lead you away to a strange and fantastic world of abbeys, castles, ancient tracks, fields, woods, round houses and hissing, spitting fires............

WE  OFFER ......

Medieval, Tudor, Jacobean/17th Century, Anglo saxon and Viking storytelling in authentic period costume, story walks, school presentations, non - costumed historical storytelling and training. We can perform in our own large medieval style tent and we frequently incorporate a collection of artefacts and replica objects within our storytelling.
