Stewart Alexander While working as a freelance countryside educator/interpreter in the early 1990's, I trained as a storyteller and have been telling tales ever since ! Over the last 16 years I've explored many creative ways to engage people with history & the landscape through guided tours, talks and costumed interpretation, this further developed through employment with the Norfolk Museums Service.

David Tonge Whilst studying for a BA and MA in History I joined the Norfolk Museums Service as an interpreter and freelance educator. My passion for popularising history led me to start incorporating storytelling within my work. I have written and delivered a wide range of educational sessions, talks, tours and presentations to a large number of schools and groups at a variety of locations across Norfolk.

Our ancestors, like us, laughed at what they couldn't control and mocked those they didn't like. Minstrels & storytellers were present at very important occasions, and had a great deal of influence, for they could win the ear of the people and weave complaints against unpopular taxes or public figures into the stories and songs. If you want to gain an understanding of the past then there is no better place to start, than with the stories that have been told and retold over time. We give new and exciting voice to these old tales. As an old saying goes.... |
